What you do

Develop and implement the bank's payments strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in payment services with focus on digital channels.
Collaborate with senior management to integrate payment solutions with other banking services.
Oversee daily operations of the payments department, ensuring high level of automation, efficiency and accuracy.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts related to payment services.
In-depth knowledge of EU payment regulations.
Lead the adoption of new payment technologies and platforms.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate technology solutions and STPs.
Drive digital transformation initiatives within the payments function.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing payments team.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in payments, banking, or financial services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of payment systems, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
