Invoicing & Collection Senior Controller F/M

What you do

You will:

  • Prepare, create and send invoices to business partners, based on data from systems such as OneBen or directly from partners, and handle any invoice-related queries
  • Allocate incoming cash against open invoices, clear unallocated items, and reconcile customer accounts with sales reports and customer statements
  • Monitor ageing of receivables, follow up proactively on overdue items (including inter-company balances), and coordinate with business partners to secure timely payments
  • Calculate commissions for business partners and brokers based on contracts, issue commission reports, monitor commission payments and clarify commission-related questions
  • Manage rebilling of costs (e.g. CADE / CADI / quota share), ensuring accurate cost allocation and transparent recharge information for stakeholders
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use
  • Contribute to process improvements in invoicing, collections, commissions and rebilling, and support other team members with day-to-day tasks when needed

What you bring

We’re looking for someone who can bring:

  • Qualifications: BTS Compta (bac +2) or equivalent accounting qualification, with 2–8 years of practical experience.
  • Practical accounting experience: experience in invoicing, cash allocation, collections or an assistant accountant role, with a solid grasp of customer account reconciliation, ageing analysis and clearing open items. Insurance sector experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Systems and Excel capability: confident use of ERP/feeder systems and general ledger tools (SAP, ABS, OneBen or similar), plus intermediate/advanced Excel skills to structure, analyse and present large datasets clearly.
  • Data discipline and attention to detail: you work methodically, spot discrepancies quickly, and are comfortable diving into data to understand issues, assess accounting process gaps and propose solutions.
  • Communication and stakeholder management: strong written and verbal communication skills in the local language (English and/or French a plus), with the ability to communicate professionally with business partners and internal teams at different levels.
  • Working style: able to take initiative, manage competing deadlines, prioritise tasks and take ownership of outcomes, while still collaborating, sharing knowledge and supporting/mentoring team members when needed.
  • Mindset: rigorous, reactive when issues arise, and open to new challenges and process changes in an international, intercultural environment.
