Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject matter expert on Workday Lead To Cash Functional Area including but not limited to Billing, Revenue, Customer Contracts and Customer Management.
- Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday.
- Maintain master data values in Workday.
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen.
- Assess impact on Workday Lead to Cash Functional area based on new releases and recommend changes.
- Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Procurement Workday.
- Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Apply technical knowledge to determine solutions and solve complex problems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of Workday Financials experience and a demonstrated understanding of Workday configurations.
- Understanding of financial applications (i.e., General Ledger, Consolidation and Business Intelligence systems).
- The ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with both technical and end users.
- Ability to own and drive efforts to standardize, optimize, and simplify processes and technical solutions.
- Previous functional experience, including finance operations, customers, billing and financial data management is highly desired.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentoring junior staff members.
- Positive by nature and a great team player.
