Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Fund Automation Team. This role will be responsible for driving automation, operational efficiency, and digital transformation across open-ended and closed-ended fund operations. A key focus will also include client onboarding automation and enabling AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fund Operations Automation

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions across the lifecycle of open-ended and closed-ended funds
  • Streamline fund accounting, reporting, and compliance processes through automation
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and drive process optimization initiatives

2. Client Onboarding Automation

  • Lead end-to-end automation initiatives for client onboarding processes
  • Integrate KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements into automated workflows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve onboarding efficiency and reduce turnaround time

3. AI & Digital Transformation Enablement

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML solutions to enhance operational efficiency and business insights
  • Partner with technology teams to implement intelligent automation solutions (RPA + AI)
  • Promote and drive adoption of AI tools across business units
  • Support development and implementation of AI/ML models and algorithms
  • Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and feature engineering activities
  • Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and industry trends
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions for new AI use cases
  • Perform testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and performance
  • Maintain proper documentation of models, experiments, and technical processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI solutions

4. Stakeholder & Project Management

  • Work closely with Operations, IT, Compliance, and Product teams
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Manage multiple automation initiatives and ensure timely delivery

5. Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all automation solutions comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies
  • Monitor and maintain automation frameworks for stability, accuracy, and performance
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business priorities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of fund operations (open-ended and closed-ended funds)
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (RPA, workflow platforms, etc.)
  • Exposure to AI/ML or data-driven solutions
  • Knowledge of client onboarding processes including KYC/AML
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI platforms, NLP, or intelligent automation tools
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, VBA, MS Access, and Excel
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data mapping
  • Familiarity with fund accounting systems
  • Basic programming knowledge (Python/SQL) and data analytics concepts
  • Experience in digital transformation initiatives
  • Foundational knowledge of statistics and data analysis
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies

Experience Requirement

Recommended Experience Range: 6–10 years: Strong individual contributor Ability to lead initiatives, influence strategy, and drive AI adoption across teams, with hands-on experience in fund operations and automation.
