KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Leadership

• Develop and execute business strategies and financial plan for NR&C
• Drive profitable growth and achieve financial targets
• Build relationships and drive collaboration with key clients and brokers
• Represent AGCS in the market and at industry events

Underwriting Excellence

• Oversee underwriting activities and portfolio management
• Implement underwriting functional role in daily underwriting.
• Be accountable for topline and bottom line performance for NR&C portfolio

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop underwriting team
• Set objectives and conduct performance reviews
• Foster culture of excellence and collaboration

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Claims, Risk Engineering, and other functions
• Collaborate with regional and global NR&C teams
• Ensure regulatory compliance and governance

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree required; professional qualifications preferred
• 10+ years insurance, Natural Resources/Construction experience
• 5+ years senior leadership experience
• Deep technical knowledge of NR&C risks
• Proven business development track record
• Strong underwriting and risk assessment skills
• Team leadership and management experience
• Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is highly beneficial.
• Fluent English and Mandarin/Cantonese
