As one segment of the Corporate & Investment Bank, our Origination & Advisory business provides the full range of products and services of a leading global investment bank. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors. We recognize that selecting the right investment banking partner can be the key to a company’s success. Our relationships are enhanced by industry sector, country, and regional expertise, closely aligned to high-quality client solutions: both buy side and sell side Mergers & Acquisitions and restructuring advisory - and capital raising services, including structured equity finance. We are able to advise on innovative cross-border and regional transactions in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific

Your key responsibilities:

Originate, lead and execute Investment Banking transactions for Taiwanese clients
Develop and maintain senior client relationships, providing strategic advice on financing, capital structure, growth initiatives, and cross-border opportunities
Demonstrate strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and client priorities, translating insights into actionable client solutions
Lead the execution of complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes in a timely and efficient manner.
Drive internal approval processes and oversee the preparation and review of transaction documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
Lead client marketing initiatives, including origination efforts, strategic advisory engagements, client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction proposals
Conduct comprehensive due diligence on clients, industries, counterparties, and target markets, ensuring adherence to the Bank's risk, compliance, and governance standards.
Serve as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day engagement and providing guidance on transaction-related matters throughout the deal lifecycle

Your skills and experience:

At least 10 years track record in origination and execution of Investment Banking deals
Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask across clients, projects, and geographies
Strong understanding of the regulatory environment
Strong quantitative skills including extensive experience with financial models and valuation techniques
Strong communication skills and ability to manage demanding clients
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
