As senior Axiom developer and SME, drive the the development of MAS & HKMA regulatory reporting changes on AXIOM platform and support Application Owner on the platform management.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Drive development projects for regulatory reports built on Axiom product
  • Understand system and functional requirements and translate them into technical implementations
  • Translate business requirements to FSD documentation
  • Ensure adherence to standards (incl. code, security, performance, archival)
  • Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards
  • Ensure production stability and timely communication to stake holders
  • Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines and challenge status quo
  • Work closely with finance & other reporting departments, business change engineers, and project managers to drive and manage IT delivery

YOUR PROFILE

Competencies:

  • Minimum 10 years of development experience in regulatory reporting tools
  • Minimum 8 years of Axiom development experience with solid hands-on development and design experience with Axiom or other equivalent regulatory reporting products
  • Passionate about technologies and building robust and scalable Systems
  • Exposure to core banking system, balance sheet, accounting
  • Experience of any other BI/reporting tools would be an advantage growing in the role
  • Comprehensive understanding in the functional requirements of HKMA (e.g., MA(BS)1) and MAS reports (e.g., MAS 610, MAS 649)
  • Knowledge of Temenos T24 is an advantage
  • Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment
  • Experience in a variety of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design

Education & Required Skills:

  • Higher Education in Computer Science (University, University of Applied Sciences or equivalent diploma)
  • Experienced in Axiom controller view
  • Experience on XBRL taxonomy
  • Exposure to Cloud technologies and Axiom cloud offering is preferred
  • Good knowledge and experience in using Axiom components
  • Experience on other BI tools – Jasper, Tableau etc. is preferred
  • Experience in designing normalised/de-normalised database schema models
  • Experience in data modelling and designing common models
  • Experience in performance optimisation
