Senior IT Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
- Independently lead and implement complex IT projects end-to-end – from planning through execution and rollout, including day-to-day management
- Coordinate project teams, external service providers, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Communicate with departments, end users, and management on strategic project topics
- Ensure project transparency through high-quality presentations and reports
- Take responsibility for project communication, change management, and user acceptance
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed cost, quality, scope, and time while tracking and reporting project status, dependencies, and risks, including mitigating measures
- Create project presentations for steering committees and management reviews
- Develop communication strategies for end users and stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including business cases
- Conduct project reviews, audits, and lessons-learned workshops
- Coach junior project managers and promote project management standards
Your Profile
- Degree in (business) informatics, project management, or a comparable qualification
- 6–8 years of experience managing complex IT projects
- Solid knowledge of common project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Scrum)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and moderation skills
- Proficient in project and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence) as well as Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Business fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form
- Ability to effectively use modern AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT (Allianz GPT 2.0), and other approved applications
- Strong willingness for continuous learning to stay up to date
- Strong ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners and clients within an international environment and across different cultures
