Are you ready to kick-start your finance career at one of Europe's leading fintech companies? As Junior Finance Analyst (m/f/d) at auxmoney, you'll support our day-to-day accounting across all regions and entities, helping keep our numbers accurate, timely, and audit-ready. You'll work closely with experienced accountants, gain exposure to fintech and structured finance operations across entities, and learn how a data-driven finance team operates in a remote-first, international environment that values precision, ownership, and continuous improvement.

What you can expect

Learn and own daily accounting tasks:

  • Process invoices, post journals, and perform bank reconciliations with guidance from senior team members.

Keep the month-end on track:

  • Prepare accruals/prepayments, assist with intercompany postings, and help deliver a fast, reliable close.

Support Payment Flows:

  • Help with payment runs, remittance allocation.

Reconcile portfolio data:

  • Maintain accurate reconciliations between portfolio systems and the general ledger, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

Be part of audits and controls:

  • Gather evidence, answer requests, and help strengthen simple, practical internal controls.

Your profile

Solid foundation:

  • 0–2 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance ops (internships/working student experience welcome).

Bookkeeping basics:

  • Understanding of double-entry, AP/AR processes, and the month-end close cycle.

Systems savvy:

  • Comfortable with Excel and keen to learn modern ERP/accounting tools (e.g., AccountsIQ).

Detail-focused, hands-on:

  • You work carefully, ask good questions, and take ownership of your tasks.

Team player, good communicator:

  • You're proactive, reliable, and collaborate well in an international setup.

Language skills:

  • You are confident in English; German is a plus.
