Pricing Expert

As a Pricing Expert, you will join an established Pricing Department and play a key role in defining and implementing pricing strategies for ING corporate clients across a range of products and services. These include core daily banking solutions such as accounts, payments, channels, and cash management.

You will work closely with sales teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure competitive pricing while maximizing profitability for each opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Execution

• Review customer requirements with Sales teams and select the appropriate pricing methodology.
• Develop pricing proposals that optimize profitability within ING’s product framework.
• Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained prior to sign-off.
• Perform financial modeling in MS Excel, applying cost adjustments where needed.
• Maintain compliance with internal guidelines and international legal standards.
• Drive innovation in pricing processes by introducing new ideas and automation.
• Insure systems are up to date with the latest pricing including our web portal i.e tariff brochures

Collaboration & Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with Sales teams, Product Managers, and colleagues across multiple countries.
• Act as a trusted advisor on pricing matters and support strategic decision-making.

Operational Pricing

• Manage day-to-day pricing activities, including preparing and validating pricing proposals.

Reporting & Business Intelligence (~40% of the role - Subject to business needs)

• Conduct reporting and analytical tasks to gather and interpret business intelligence.
• Analyze client insights, consolidate findings, and develop business cases.
• Present recommendations and contribute to policy development.
• Collaborate across the wider network to share best practices and ensure alignment.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity for data.
• Proficiency in Excel and a passion for automation.
• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, and familiarity with robotics and AI solutions to streamline processes definitely a benefit.
• Excellent planning and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and drive process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in pricing within a B2B or banking environment (preferred).
• Fluent Business English (oral and written).
• Strong customer focus, problem-solving skills, and persuasive communication.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
• Knowledge of international business management or international relations is a plus.
• Demonstrated flexibility and change management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraint.

Wage (gross)

From 2.669 EUR/month

Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
