Compliance Officer

Allianz Insurance • Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work independently in enhancing, creating and implementing policies but collaborative and considerate to work in regional jurisdictions in South East Asia and Oceania
  • Developing and implementing compliance policies
  • Updating compliance policies to reflect latest rules and regulations, industry best practices and changes to regulatory guidelines
  • Proactively auditing processes, documents and practices as well as informing and training employees to ensure they are aware of regulatory obligations
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and oversee control systems in order to deal with or prevent violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Alerting stakeholders to potential non-compliant areas of the business and advise on remedial actions
  • Any adhoc tasks or projects assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of compliance experience. A more senior appointment will be considered with the relevant experience and qualifications
  • Exposure to working in insurance industry and familiar with regulatory compliance in Singapore
  • Experience from South East Asia or Oceania preferred but not necessary
  • Strong communication skills and can demonstrate ability to influence and handle stakeholders
  • Legal background would be an advantage
