Accountant / Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for month end closing, financial accounting and Group reporting
• Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the accounting ledgers
• Manage and coordinate outsourced processes with Shared Services team
• Drive finance and operational process improvements
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on finance and accounting matters
• Support the annual financial audit and manage the preparation of Financial Statements in line with local GAAP requirements
• Manage tax returns and filings in line with regulatory requirements
• Prepare financial and management analysis and reports as required
• Support the implementation of Group projects
• Assist in the implementation of internal controls
• Perform other ad hoc assignments as required

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting or relevant discipline
• Minimum 4 years working experience, preferably with both commercial and Big 4 audit experience. Previous working experience in insurance industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Good command of English
• Able to work under pressure and a good team player
• Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for the position of Senior Accountant
