About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevSecOps Engineer specializing in operating and maintaining cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with strong expertise in cloud technologies and data warehousing. In this role, you will design, automate, and operate secure, scalable data platforms in a dynamic agile environment.

What you do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Operate and optimize AWS cloud services including EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Glue
• Manage and maintain Snowflake cloud data warehouse databases and roles
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
• Ensure security best practices through IAM, Secrets Manager, and WAF configurations
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using Dynatrace
• Work with streaming technologies including Apache Kafka and EBS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile/Scrum environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high-quality standards

What you bring

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Cloud & Infrastructure:

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services: EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue
• Proficiency in Snowflake Cloud: Database management, Roles configuration
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

Security:

• Deep understanding of cloud security: IAM, Secrets Manager, WAF

Data & Streaming:

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and EBS

Programming & Scripting:

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL

Systems & Monitoring:

• Strong Linux operating system knowledge
• Experience with Dynatrace monitoring platform

Professional Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or comparable qualification through professional experience
• Agile mindset: Scrum proficiency, product-oriented thinking, high degree of initiative
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Goal-oriented and independent work style with awareness for high quality and customer orientation
• Passion for working in agile teams and commitment to continuous development
• Fluent English communication skills; basic German knowledge is a plus
