Claims Processing Officer - Hospitalization Approvals

Main responsibilities
- Process, review, and approve hospitalization requests for group and individual health insurance policies in accordance with policy terms.
- Assess medical documentation, benefits, limits, and eligibility to ensure accurate authorization decisions.
- Liaise with hospitals, providers, brokers, and insured members to support timely and accurate hospitalization approvals.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, medical guidelines, and contractual obligations.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in health insurance claims processing or hospitalization approvals.
Strong understanding of health insurance policies, benefits, and hospitalization workflows.
Fluency in Greek and English, written and spoken.
Very good knowledge of MS Office and claims or authorization systems.
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a structured working approach.
Ability to make accurate and timely decisions under pressure
