Your Profile

• 7+ years of experience in Anti-Financial Crime, AML/CTF, compliance operations, or other regulated financial operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, ideally in a regulated financial institution, fintech, or similar operational environment.
• Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring systems, case management tools, or operational workflows.
• Proven experience working with SMB (small and medium business) clients or operations supporting SMB workflows.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations, audit basics, and reporting requirements.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills: able to give clear instructions, structure work, and develop young team leads.
• Experience working with or managing third-party vendors is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field; Master's is a plus.

About The Role

We're looking for a strong operational leader to take full ownership of our first-line FinCrime operations. You will manage frontline teams, develop young and inexperienced Team Leads, and ensure stable, high-quality performance in a fast-paced environment. Your core focus is operations, structure, clarity, people management, and delivering performance.

Your Mission

• Lead and manage first-line FinCrime operations, including frontline agents and their Team Leads.
• Build structure where it’s missing: SOPs, workflows, basic training routines, and quality standards.
• Develop and coach young Team Leads: assess who can grow, who needs support, and who should be replaced.
• Ensure stable operational performance and achieve core KPIs.
• Identify gaps in frontline workflows, SOPs, or quality processes and propose pragmatic operational improvements.
• Monitor day-to-day operations, quickly identify bottlenecks, and remove blockers.
• Reduce unnecessary escalations and improve the accuracy of frontline decisions.
• Oversee vendor performance together with Vendor Management and ensure consistent quality across internal and external teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures (regulatory subject-matter expertise is not required).
