About the Job

We are looking for a Process Architect to join the Corporate Process Governance (CPG) team and play a key role in designing, implementing and continuously improving Allianz Technology’s global process landscape. You will actively shape and evolve the Global Process Blueprint, ensuring that global standards are consistently applied while enabling innovation and simplification.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical and architectural skills with hands-on experience in operational and IT-supported environments. And who is motivated to turn governance into measurable impact. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organization from different functions and geographies.

What you do

  • Design, maintain and evolve end-to-end business processes in line with Allianz Technology’s Global Process Blueprint and the Allianz Target Operating Model.
  • Translate governance principles and standards into practical, well-structured process solutions for business and IT environments.
  • Support the rollout and implementation of the Process Governance Framework, driving harmonization and continuous improvement across the process landscape.
  • Maintain and further develop process architecture standards (processes, roles, controls, KPIs, maturity models)
  • Drive process implementation and adoption across global functions and coordinate the global process owner community.
  • Identify and lead new initiatives for process mining, automation and AI use cases.
  • Contribute to the development of process standards, templates, and methodologies.
  • Support compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements (e.g. DORA) from a process perspective.
  • Ensure high-quality, consistent documentation in the process repository (e.g. ADONIS)
  • Act as a process consultant and transformation partner for global stakeholders.

What you bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in process architecture, business process management, process consulting, or process improvement.
  • End-to-end and cross-functional process understanding, ideally in an IT-driven or IT-supported environment.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with pragmatism and implementation focus.
  • Solid understanding of process modeling standards and governance principles.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills in an international environment.
  • Affinity for metrics, KPIs, process maturity models, and performance management.
  • Ability to structure complexity and translate it into clear, usable process solutions.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-related frameworks (e.g., DORA, IT controls) is a plus.
  • Certifications in ITIL, BPM, Process Governance, or similar are a plus.
  • Fluent English; German or Spanish is a plus.
