Join the Global Multi Asset team, managing EUR 115B in multi asset solutions for Institutional and Retail clients.
Within the broader Multi Asset, we are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to support our Protection team.
The Protection team manages Institutional and Retail accounts investing in Funds, ETFs, Derivatives and single securities aiming to deliver compelling risk-adjust returns and protection levels.
The candidate will join as Portfolio Manager and will have direct responsibility for single clients and accounts, including portfolio implementation, distribution support and client interaction.
What you will do
- Portfolio management of multi-asset portfolios, with an initial focus on protection portfolios, including both CPPI- and OBPI-based strategies.
- Enhancement and further development of the current investment strategy and technology infrastructure.
- Participation in and active contribution to internal research initiatives, with a particular focus on quantitative and options-based strategies.
- Contribution to client-related activities, including the presentation of investment strategies, preparation of client review meetings and workshops, and development of pitch materials.
What you bring
- 6-10 years of experience in investments and fund management; experience in multi-asset investing is an advantage.
- Excellent university degree with a specialization in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, economics, and financial risk management.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience with derivatives in a portfolio management context, both for investment and hedging purposes. Hands-on experience with options is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in a programming language, preferably Python, and experience in managing data flows and databases, including platforms such as Databricks and SQL.
- Familiarity with AI-driven programming, software development, or investment research is a strong differentiator.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex strategies clearly to both internal and client audiences.
- Strong team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Professional working proficiency in English and German is required; additional language skills, particularly Italian or French, are considered beneficial.
- Progress toward, or completion of, the CFA designation or other relevant professional certifications is considered an advantage.
- Experience with Python, Data Engineering, Data Analytics.
