We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) for our modern and innovative location at Munich.
You will become part of the Data & AI and work alongside a global team with diverse backgrounds and expertise. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data analytics, enjoys transforming data into meaningful insights, and is eager to gain exposure to the real estate industry.
What you will do:
- Design and build data pipelines and integrations on our real estate data platforms, working with tools such as Databricks, SQL, and Python.
- Depending on the project, develop data apps (e.g., Streamlit, Flask, Plotly Dash), microservices and RAG/LLM-based solutions using vector databases.
- Support the migration of data between legacy and new systems, including extraction, transformation, loading, and validation of large datasets.
- Explore and apply AI-powered tools to speed up development, data processing, and quality checks.
- Set up, configure, and test databases, interfaces, and system integrations together with IT and business teams.
- Dig into technical issues and bugs, get to the root cause, and help ship the fix.
- Collaborate with business, data, and project teams, and keep everyone posted on progress.
What you will bring:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems (e.g., Wirtschaftsinformatik), Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, with a solid understanding of software development.
- Strong programming and data-handling skills, with practical experience in SQL and Python (or similar languages).
- Interest in databases, system architecture, and data integration; familiarity with ETL concepts is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, a structured working style, and a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable results.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and communicate progress proactively.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks), web frameworks (e.g., Streamlit, Flask), version control (e.g., Git), or AI-powered development tools (e.g., LLM/RAG applications) is a plus.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
