Corporate Information Security (CIS) is the core department and central driver for Information Security Governance in Allianz Technology SE. The division is tasked to continue evolving a strong security organization, establishing global security solutions and countermeasures, and overseeing the effectiveness and guiding the implementation of security controls. The CIS function at Allianz Technology helps to protect the organization's digital assets, maintain customer trust, and support business continuity.

As a Risk & Security Expert, you will oversee the execution of information security projects across our global organization. Your role will involve managing complex security initiatives and ensuring compliance with global standards

What you do

  • Lead and manage global information security projects, ensuring compliance with Allianz Technology standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee comprehensive program/project management, including defining milestones, success criteria, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders within CIS, safeguarding functions, and business units to ensure seamless alignment and execution of project plans.
  • Provide information security consulting to and liaison with relevant stakeholders (e.g., IT, other safeguarding functions, other Allianz organizational entities).
  • Support on the promotion of knowledge and awareness of Allianz Technology information security requirements in service and business processes.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security or related fields with University degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated success in managing Information Security or IT projects within complex global enterprise environments.
  • Track record in managing functional communities based on excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of European regulatory requirements in the insurance sector, including VAIT, DORA, NIS2.
  • Agile mindset with practical experience in agile methodologies. Ability to cope with high workload, and being able to exercise high levels of independence, judgment and initiative.
  • Expertise in Information Security technologies, architecture, and processes, including information security management systems and relevant industry standards (in particular ISO270xx, COBIT5/2019). Certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP are a plus.
  • Proficiency in English, German language skills are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
