Business Manager Fixed Income (f/m/d)

The Public Market Business Management team supports the leadership of the Public Markets Investment Platform through strategy development and implementation, project management, governance activities, budget management, and business data analytics.

As a Business Manager for Fixed Income, you will focus on supporting the development and oversight of AllianzGI’s Fixed Income business. You will work closely with leaders within the Fixed Income platform, as well as with colleagues in the Public Market Business Management team.

This role will be based in Frankfurt.

What you will do

• Work with the Lead Business Manager Fixed Income to support the CIO Fixed Income in the daily management, development, and positioning of AllianzGI’s Fixed Income investment platform, with a particular focus on transformation through AI and technology adoption
• Support the preparation of business cases, decision papers, and management presentations, in close collaboration with senior decision-makers across the company
• Contribute to and manage initiatives and projects aimed at improving efficiency, profitability, competitiveness, and growth within AllianzGI’s Fixed Income business
• Represent the Fixed Income asset class in various internal and cross-functional initiatives, topics, and working groups
• Coordinate and document Fixed Income management meetings and governance activities

What you bring

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering, with excellent results
• Relevant experience in the financial industry or in consulting; experience in technology or AI transformation is a plus
• Strong interest in and aptitude for business management–related topics
• High interest in Fixed Income business and portfolio management topics
• Outstanding PowerPoint and Excel skills required; experience with AI tools is a plus
• Confidence in working with large and complex data sets
• Experience in leading or coordinating projects
• Comfortable working with and presenting to senior management
• Strong strategic thinking skills
• High degree of self-organization and a proactive attitude
• Ability to manage time pressure and handle multiple topics simultaneously
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Proven experience in the Fixed Income domain (either in an investment or project role) is a plus
• Good knowledge of AllianzGI and the structure and setup of its investment platform is a plus
• Experience with Data Visualization, Data Analytics and Microsoft CoPilot
