Senior Analyst Industrials

Do you have an analytical and structured mindset, and are you passionate about the financial sector? To strengthen our Swiss Equity Research team in our Private Clients division, we are looking for a motivated and competent industrials analyst to cover selected companies in the Swiss industrial market.

What would your role be?

• Company analysis within the assigned investment universe with a focus on the Swiss industrial market
• Monitoring of the selected companies and updating related publications
• Publication of reports (single stock, sector, thematic reports) of the assigned universe
• Preparation of company information (models and forecasts) based on various sources, including analysis of business documents and management interviews
• Marketing of reports and general topics on Swiss industrials to our clients
• Press relations: writing articles for newspapers, trade journals, our web and print magazines, etc.
• Provide support to Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in the form of handling individual inquiries, situational participation in client meetings or client events, etc.

What are we looking for?

• University degree (master's degree preferred) in economics or similar qualification and at least three years of professional experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Swiss listed industrials
• Additional qualification(s) such as CFA; Basic ESG know-how as an added value
• Financial modelling skills (Excel skills and MS Office programs) and know-how of financial information systems (e.g., Bloomberg)
• Ability to communicate investment recommendations in a client-focused manner, both verbally and in writing
• The professional demeanor to be able to interact with C-level contacts at eye level as well
• Excellent written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages a plus
