ING Australia’s ODCR team is looking to hire an ODCR Manager – Continuity & Resilience based at our Sydney office.
As the ODCR Manager – Continuity & Resilience, you’ll play a key role in strengthening ING Australia’s ability to respond to and recover from disruptive events. You’ll lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our Continuity & Resilience Framework, working closely with senior stakeholders across business, technology, and risk functions.
We’re looking for a technically capable and proactive individual with strong stakeholder engagement skills, a deep understanding of operational resilience, and the ability to drive meaningful change. What you’ll do
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of ING’s Continuity & Resilience Framework, including Business Continuity Plans and Crisis Management Plans.
- Facilitate business impact analyses, threat assessments, and identification of recovery capability gaps.
- Provide assurance and challenge on recovery strategies and plans, including those of third parties.
- Coordinate testing, training, and awareness programs across the bank.
- Support crisis coordination activities during significant events.
- Deliver reporting to senior governance forums including RACC and BRC.
- Contribute to uplift initiatives, ad-hoc projects, and group-wide working groups.
What we’re looking for
- Tertiary qualification in business, finance, legal, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years’ experience in financial services, with at least 3 years in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, or Information Risk Management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. CPS 230), risk management principles, and continuity planning.
- Technically savvy with strong MS Office skills; experience with Tableau, SAS, or SQL is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
