About the Role

• Drive the strategic planning cycle for Consumer, focusing on developing opportunities for driving business growth.
• Elevate strategic performance by analysing data, KPIs and market insights, and suggesting adjustments to enhance outcomes.
• Craft compelling materials to effectively communicate strategy and insights to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership and the Board.
• Facilitate strategy-related workshops and ensure market and competitor insights are current for informed and empathetic decision-making.
• Engage in financial modelling and cost-benefit analysis while encouraging innovation and supporting a high-performance culture within the Consumer team.

About You

• Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with experience in strategic planning within insurance, consultancy or professional service.
• Showcase strong commercial and financial understanding, with skills in market-focused roles to interpret complex data, lead dialogue and guide decision-making.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of insurance industry operations and modern strategy development practices.
• Have proven experience in leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments, applying strategic, commercial, and creative thinking techniques.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
