AVP – Client Services, Fund Administration

Role Location: Qatar

Department: Client Services

Reporting Line: Head of Client Services

Employment Type: Full Time

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

Support the onboarding of fund, SPV and corporate structures, including coordination of documentation, KYC/AML requirements, and internal approvals.
Act as a central point of coordination between clients, internal teams, and external service providers (legal, auditors, banks, sharia advisors)
Assist in structuring discussions for open-ended and closed-ended funds, corporate vehicles and special purpose structures.
Support the development and refinements of Apex’s regional service offerings, including fund administration, corporate services, governance, and family office solutions
Track pipeline activity and support internal coordination to progress opportunities from initial discussion through onboarding.

Skills Required:

At least 2-3 years plus experience preferably in fund administration, corporate services, professional services, consulting or financial services, preferably in a client-facing or onboarding role.
Understanding of fund and corporate structures, including open-ended funds, closed-ended funds (PE/VC), SPVs, and holding companies
Exposure to client onboarding, KYC/AML processes, and regulatory documentation.
Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, or client pitches is strongly preferred.
Interest in or exposure to Islamic finance and Sharia-compliant structures is an advantage.
Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience is required).
Proactive and willing to drive things forward.
An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
Flexible in work approach due to nature of the role to meet client deliverables.
Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a pressurised environment.
Capacity to problem-solve and ability to deal with complex issues.
A participative management style that aims to motivate staff and develop their skills and capabilities.
