About the Programme

The Code First Girls Mid-Level Accelerator Programme is designed for women with 1.5+ years of technical experience who want to deepen their skills and accelerate into new technology roles. This 16-week programme combines advanced technical training with real-world project work and professional development. Upon successful completion of the programme, the graduates will have upgraded their skills and will have the opportunity to be considered for a new technology role within DB Global Technology Romania.

About DB Global Technology

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation. We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain Python applications, ensuring clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement software solutions, contributing to innovative projects.
Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and best practices.
Stay proactive in learning new technologies and tools, bringing fresh ideas and a positive attitude to the team.

Skills

Basic experience with Python and a passion for technology.
Foundational understanding of software development principles and best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
