About the role:

***TIMINGS: 9am-5pm Role with 4 days in office and 1 day work from home.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Test Analyst or Senior Test Analyst to join a dynamic, high-performing team within software development and funds management. The role involves software testing across the development lifecycle, working closely with Development and Business Analyst teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with flexible working arrangements. Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete functional system, regression testing and parallel testing of all product enhancements, fixes and strategic projects, ensuring full coverage of the requirements & design.
  • Complete regular manual & automated regression testing of planned upgrade releases (major & minor versions).
  • Assist in the development of test automation suites using a variety of automation tools.
  • Provide ad-hoc feedback on business requirements / technical design documents for new software developments.
  • Provide ad-hoc support and consultancy to both internal and external clients.

Skills Required:

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications

  • A passion for software development and strong interest in the Financial Services industry.
  • 5+ years of qualified experience in a test analyst role or finance/accounting discipline.
  • Enjoys problem solving, analytical & numerical analysis.
  • Reputable tertiary qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively within a multi-region team and global client base.
  • A keen interest in IT testing and the willingness to learn new testing tool and methodologies.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours when urgent issues must be resolved.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman).

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications

  • Fund administration or securities markets experience.
  • ISQTB foundation certificate in Software testing will be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Professional Accounting qualification will be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Experience of SSMS / SQL Query will be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Familiarity with Fund Accounting / Transfer Agency software and/or domain knowledge will be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Familiarity with file transfer mechanism and API testing will be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Exposure to performance and penetration testing (JMeter, K6, Nmap, Burp Suite).
  • Ability to balance hands-on manual validation with automation-first practices.
