Investment Management Oversight Officer (optional German speaker)

We are currently looking for a German speaking Investment Management Oversight Officer to support our growing operations in the Investment Management Oversight department.

The candidate will be part of the team who is maintaining and performing the entire due diligence process on the delegated investment management activities which among others consists of:

  • Manage and take care the initial and periodic due diligence and oversight of delegated Investment Managers, Advisors and Brokers, in line with the CSSF circular 18/698 requirements.
  • Manage and conduct operational thematic reviews based on the investment strategies of the funds.
  • Prepare periodic and thematic review reports.
  • Perform operational controls depending on the investment strategies of the funds (EMIR, SFTR, BMR…).
  • Maintain SLAs with delegated Investment Managers and/or Advisors.
  • Maintain the scorecards applying RBA (risk-based approach principles).
  • Maintain operational dashboards.
  • Solve issues with regards to the delegated investment management activities of the funds.
  • Ensure all requirements are adhered to and findings are escalated in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance or Economics.
  • 2-3 years of sufficient experience.
  • Proficiency in English (optional German) both written and spoken.
  • Proven MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Well-structured and well organized
  • Responsible team player, accountable and reliable self-starter
  • Show integrity with a willingness to learn
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements or previous experience from similar oversight functions
  • An interest in investment strategies, financial instruments and the overall organisation of the delegates’ fund structures from a legal, operational but also from a compliance aspect.

This document, issued by the authorities, must not be older than three months. Such a document will be requested with the aim of carrying out a character check on candidates, bearing in mind the area of activity of our establishment and, more particularly, the tasks described in the job description.
