INTERNSHIP - Legal

As part of the strengthening of its Legal department, ING Luxembourg is looking for a trainee starting in June 2026 for a minimum of 6 months with an educational institution. Please note that only candidates with a valid school convention will be considered.

Job description:

As a Legal Intern, you will manage projects related to the department's legal activities:

• Participate in the review and drafting of various legal contracts relating to the bank's different business lines;
• Actively participate in the preparation and follow-up of legal files under the responsibility of the department's more experienced lawyers (estates, seizure of accounts, dormant accounts, security interests, etc.);
• Prepare and draft research notes, emails and/or analyses on banking law issues related to the demands of the bank's various activities;
• Provide support in the organization and day-to-day running of the Legal Department, and keep abreast of Luxembourg and European legislation and regulations.

You will be required to independently manage the follow-up of projects and work in collaboration with Legal or other contacts concerned by the activities.

Your profile:

Education: Master 1 or 2 in Law or equivalent legal training; Initial experience in a bank and/or law firm will be considered an asset.

Skills: Good analytical and summarizing skills; Good written and oral communication skills; Good team spirit and creativity; Ability to manage projects independently.

Languages: Very good knowledge of French and English is essential; Knowledge of Luxembourgish, German and/or Dutch will be considered an asset.
