Role Overview

The End User Technology (EUT) Analyst is the onsite point of contact for local users interacting with Apex Group IT services, including desktop support, telephony, networking, and business applications. The role is responsible for delivering timely onsite IT support while maintaining a strong balance between technical expertise and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite IT support for the office environment.
  • Maintain and support local IT infrastructure.
  • Support office technologies and end-user computing hardware, including building and repairing laptops and desktops.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for end-user technology issues.
  • Support Windows 365 infrastructure and endpoints.
  • Support video conferencing and meeting room solutions.
  • Deploy IT equipment for new joiners and collect equipment from leavers.
  • Provide printer support and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver hands-and-eyes support for remote infrastructure and networking teams.
  • Perform network cabling and patching activities within the office.
  • Coordinate office IT setups and office moves.
  • Manage IT asset inventory.
  • Provision, deploy, and support telephony solutions including Microsoft Teams Voice.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors providing IT services and solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with local office management and Group IT teams.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with end users, keeping them updated on IT requests.
  • Escalate and report major IT issues and risks in a timely manner.
  • Act as an escalation point for office IT issues and user requests.
  • Research, test, and implement new systems and solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support additional IT initiatives as assigned by the IT Operations Lead.

Requirements

  • University degree or BAC+2/3 qualification in an IT-related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT support experience.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies including Intune, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Windows 11 and Windows 365 environments.
  • Knowledge of DNS and DHCP technologies.
  • Experience creating and improving SOPs and technical documentation.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of physical networking support is desirable.
