Job description

In an Agile/DevOps environment organized in Tribes & Squads, your role is to contribute to the completion of the backlog dedicated to your squad (change & run activities).

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain applications and systems assigned to the Datawarehouse domain. This involves the implementation of the following activities:

• Autonomous support of the team’s backlog user stories, ensuring strict adherence to business specifications and standards in terms of performance, availability, and security
• Monitoring and governance of the application lifecycle and IT risks for domain-related applications
• Management of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from various sources into usable formats for business analysis
• Development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner
• Design, writing, and execution of automated tests (unit, functional/non-functional, integration, etc.)
• Troubleshooting and resolution of issues and incidents in collaboration with Ops Engineers
• Continuous improvement of technical and functional expertise
• Providing ongoing support and training to users on BI tools and data analytics
• Active participation in Agile development ceremonies

Your profile

Technical skills:

• Data warehousing concepts & techniques
• Database: Oracle
• Languages: SQL, PL/SQL
• ETL tool: DataStage
• Reporting tool: Business Objects
• Version control and DevOps tools: Git, Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines,…)
• Programming/scripting: Perl, Python
• Operating systems : Windows, Linux
• Knowledge of Oracle APEX is a plus

Experience:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, with at least 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence development.

Languages:

• Fluency in French or English, with a good understanding of the other language.
