The Finance Platform of Allianz Technology offer a position for a Solution Designer within the Technical Accounting Department.

The Solution Designer works closely within the Team and with Insurance Business Stakeholders to analyze demands, and propose the best functional solutions that can satisfy user requests in terms of requirements and timing, while simultaneously optimizing development costs and executions times.

In this scenario, the Solution Designer will manage the Accounting tool in place, implementing front end functionalities, pipelines of batch or real-time processing, transformation and treatment of structured and unstructured data, incidents and run/issues activities related.

The Solution Designer will work with different technologies constantly evolving knowledge and curiosity regarding new technologies and methods.

The Solution Designer has to demonstrate and evolve the ability to build relationships with different team works, including international ones, and always ensure the achievement of the best solution in accordance with the needs and requirements shared.

What you do

  • Analyze the business requirements related to new functionalities/upgrading of existing features on Accounting Front End Application and related batch procedures, also from the point of view of infrastructure/security issues
  • Draw and implement the best solution, in terms of performance and costs, according to the business requirements in collaboration with outsourcer
  • Interact, if necessary, with members of other teams to jointly design the best application solution compliant with user requests

What you bring

  • Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology
  • At least 5 years of experience in the same position requested
  • Experience in insurance technical accounting with solid knowledge of the related topics
  • Strong knowledge in the insurance sector in UPR and DAC management and calculation processes and in management processes of registers required by law and/or IVASS directives, tax payments and tax
  • Experience of working with any one of the Database technologies, preferably DB2 or equivalent
  • Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) knowledge
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Team spirit, self-motivation, and a proactive result-driven working style as well as the ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, manage issues and sharply meet deadlines
  • Fluent in Italian and English
