Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and manage daily workflows of all client deliverables within the team.
- Review, prepare, and reconcile NAVs for clients (AIF Category II funds) on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Finalize month-end NAV and provide Investor-Level Allocation reports; must be well‑versed in performance fee calculation and understand series & equalization accounting.
- Ensure smooth execution of all service delivery activities — including booking daily journal entries, management fee calculations, valuation of investments, preparation of financial/investor reports, and ad-hoc reporting — while maintaining high service quality.
- Review pricing of the portfolio as per IFSCA/SEBI guidelines and analyze any pricing exceptions.
- Accrue/amortize daily or monthly non-security related fee accruals including management fees and financing accruals.
- Communicate effectively with clients for daily reporting, NAV estimates, and query resolution.
- Book and review capital activities of the fund.
- Ensure compliance with IFSCA/SEBI guidelines for close-ended funds.
- Implement and design process controls to deliver high-quality work.
- Ensure SLAs for daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly activities are consistently met.
- Create process checklists to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Review and update critical process documentation regularly.
- Provide support in preparing, reviewing, and assisting with regulatory requirements as per IFSCA guidelines.
- Support audits of funds, including preparation of financial statements.
- Support operations in projects related to automation, work migrations, conversions, etc.
Skills Required
- 10+ years of experience with strong knowledge of Alternative Investment Funds (Category II) and GIFT City funds.
- Strong understanding of valuation across asset classes: equity, derivatives, debt, bonds, debentures, and unlisted securities as per SEBI/IFSCA guidelines.
- Proficiency in performance/management fee calculations, equalization, and waterfall model computations.
- Educational qualification: M.Com / CA / MBA–Finance / CFA.
- Experience with systems such as Efront, Allvue, or Paxus is a major advantage.
- Strong general ledger accounting knowledge with high attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; role requires direct client interaction.
- Ability to work additional hours when required.
- Experience in team management, performance appraisal, and people development.
