Actuary Pricing Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pricing Actuary Analyst to support product pricing and development activities. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to design competitive insurance products, conduct pricing analyses, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Market Management and Product Development teams to finalize product design and specifications in line with client needs and market demand.
• Perform pricing analysis and profit testing for new insurance products.
• Prepare, manage, and present pricing reports to internal stakeholders, regional offices, and regulators to facilitate product review and approval.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Market Management, Distribution teams, and external business partners.
• Participate in cross-functional discussions on product design, profit testing, and implementation.
• Prepare policy contracts and actuarial documentation to support internal processes and statutory filings.
• Support the development and maintenance of sales illustration systems.
• Analyze product performance and proactively identify and anticipate potential product risks.

Requirements

• Fresh graduate or candidate with up to 4 years of relevant experience in actuarial or insurance functions.
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance products and pricing principles.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and anticipate product risks.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic people management or leadership potential is an advantage.
• Progress toward professional actuarial qualification (e.g., SOA, IFoA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and their application in insurance pricing or risk assessment.
